Finally, eye lashes worth batting! A drug approved as a treatment to lower intraocular pressure in people with a type of glaucoma or hypertension within the eye, has recently been approved by the US FDA to increase thickness of lashes. Cosmetic drug maker Allergan Inc, says its eyelash treatment Latisse, which has the active ingredient bimatoprost, treats the condition hypotrichosis of the eyelashes.
